La Rive Akaroa Motel is the first motel you see as you drive down the hill and arrive in Akaroa. It is well known for the distinctive turret at the end of the building and the French flag that is always flying from the flag pole.

We have a long established reputation for affordable, clean and comfortable accommodation. We make ourselves available to both local and overseas visitors and can cater for traveling family groups.

Our objective is to make your stay in Akaroa as pleasant and relaxing as possible, and being a smaller motel we have time to provide personal service and guest information on what to see and do in Akaroa.
